Oversize Sponge Ball Development.
Children use an oversize specialize sponge balls that bounce on their strike zone, slower and are much easier to hit. Children play on three-metre or six-metre wide courts. Recommended racquet size - we are proud to announce a new range of specialized NEW racquets of 17-19 inches.
At the age of 3-5 yrs children really enjoy active play. So, naturally they will benefit from this gentle, fun introduction to tennis, which leads next stages of the hot shots programs.
Our primary aim is to develop your child's Fundamental and Perceptual Motor Skill's "ABC'S" of athletic development (Agility, Balance, Coordination, Speed) so he/she can begin to play tennis as soon as possible. All the skills learnt in the lesson (throwing, catching, striking, balancing, moving in multiple directions) can crossover to the other sports as well.
Red Ball Development.
Children use 25 per cent compression red balls that bounce lower, slower and are much easier to hit. Children play on three-metre or six-metre wide courts. Recommended racquet size is 21-23 inches.
Our primary aim is to develop your child's fundamental motor skills (FMS) so they can begin to play tennis as soon as possible. All of the skills learnt in the lesson (hitting, throwing, catching, balancing and moving) will help progress to the next program stage.
Orange Ball Development.
Children use 50 percent compression orange balls and play on regular courts with reduced length and width. Recommended racuqet size is 23-25 inches.
Learn all the fundamentals of tennis as technique is now more important including developing longer swings/strokes and how to use their bodies to help them produce power. There is a greater emphasis on the development on serving/scoring and the continued development of rallying skills and points play.
Green Ball Development.
Children play on a full-sized court using 75 per cent compression green balls. Recommended racquet size is 25-27 inches.
This program is for slightly older players who are playing for the first time, beginners adults and also for previous players to complete the final stage of the modified tennis development which all the technique and skills that you have developed through the stages can now be put into practice.
